This week held my first races of the season. Last Sunday, January 20, 2013 I traveled up to Granite Bay, CA to racing in the TBF Mountain Bike Kickstart MTB XC race. It has been over a year since I raced MTB XC though that is where I originally started competing in cycling races 4+ years ago. I raced Pro/Expert and ended up placing 4th in my age group.
After a week of training, I raced the Early Bird Crit P1,2,3 field yesterday. A great race for me to get back into the excitement of crit racing. After a windy race and fast laps, I placed 8th overall.
